Yes from 2004 december ,but the only reason i was still working was my GC process. I waited patiently and after my GC got approved the first thing i did was to resign :)
2, What is your best quality(s) that helped you in your success?
I dont know ,but i am in the internet from 2000 ,maybe it helped
3, Seriously, if you don't mind can you share your investment strategy?
I suck in this ! .I tried speculative stock investing and lost over 50k last year ,so i almost stopped investing now ,most of the money sits in bank cd :( ...Also its not like i am a millionare , remember unlce sam eats almost half of what i earn !

I used to have a PR 8 but now have only a PR 7's .Anyway PR dont matter much in the algo for some time .High PR just helps in fast carwling and indexing !
Yup finance (mortgage,refinance,payday) ,dating (try american singles), education,satellite,insurance,ink catridge,shoes,plasma tv are still hot .I run a few casino sites but i dont make much !

Mr. G I don't get it. I was under the impression that a businessmen will talk smartly but not honestly, and an Indian will not share his business techniques especially if it fetches lot of money. You are both and but the same time, not. I mean Indian and businessman but sharing business techs,I do not know about the smart or honest side of that. But I know that u are a nice soul, no matter what. your posts have always been informative, incredible and decent. You and mr. viking have made even me think about business. forget how successful will I be or not(even in my thought).

The guy who developed this site has only one intension---- Affiliate marketing.
Anybody can create a web site. The main criteria is 'content rich' site. That is the reason people visit yahoo. It is content rich site.
Other criteria is 'stickiness'. The ability of the site to attract people and make them stay. miindia is successful in that.

this is commission based. you advertise someone else's product and make commission. similar to resellers... search affiliate programs on the web and get more info.
believe it is not easy at all .. because there are thousands and thousands of competitors..all this sites are public.. G doesnt want to mention his sites.. i dont blame him- we indians are popular with plagiarism and 'stepping over' mentality.

Thanks again for your feedback! A couple of questions--
-Looks like we have to own websites(that sell products and stuff) to do this, right? If our company develops software/websites for other customers, we will not be the owner of those websites. In that case it won't work well unless we work with those customers on a second commission basis, right?
-You mentioned that we have to pay for something... Hmmmm.....We have to pay for giving referrals to others when they have that great advantage? Is it for the overhead involved in tracking who referred them to their websites?
-We get paid for the sales that we produced.. we need to pay only for the referrals that helped to produce sales?

I was playing with websites from 2000 (just as a hobby) but things got serious only from mid 2002 !.
That was my net income before tax meaning income minus regular business expenses .Obviously i have to pay tax on this income which is approx 35-40%

When the visitor clicks this url and land in the merchant site and buys something you are credited a pre-defined commssion.
Usually the visitor is tracked using a cookie ,so even if the visitor dont buy in the first visit you will still get commission if he visits again and buys (before the cookie expires) .So the longer the cookie the better.
Basically most affiliate marketers use search marketing (paid/ppc as well as organic/free) to promote their merchants offers.
